"Technology is everything that wasn't when you were born." – Alan Kay
Technology has evolved rapidly in recent years, as has the human being, which is why today we are in an abundance of information, knowledge and access to information.
The new can bring insecurity, but to the same extent it can arouse curiosity and the desire for assimilation, for development.
Questions such as:
frequently appear in the minds of parents
From what age is it healthy for the child to have access to television, telephone, tablet?
How much time is optimal to let him spend in front of screens?
Will the use of gadgets influence his relationship with others?
Technology can have both positive and negative effects. It is a natural evolution to which we each adapt at our own pace, the parent being the one who shapes the impact that technology has on his child.
Over time, specialized studies have demonstrated that until the age of 3, the child should be exposed to gadgets as little or even not at all, since it is the most important stage of development from a neural point of view, it is the period in which the child develops motor-cognitive-emotional. Through free access to the screen, the child is unable to acquire future acquisitions or assimilates parts of them insufficiently, inappropriately, such as incorrect posture and walking, poor fine or gross motor skills, low attention to tasks, lack of autonomy, sleep or behavior disorders.
Evolution cannot be stopped, which is why access to information, the selection of content to which the child has access, the balance between the time spent in front of an electronic device and the interaction with peers can positively influence the harmonious development of the future adolescent.
The online environment used properly develops spatial vision, logical and abstract thinking. Online educational programs based on artificial intelligence integrate elements that cannot be used or accessed from and in the physical environment.
Let's evolve healthy!
