The period of exams is an important stage in the evolution of the individual and it comes together with stress and discomfort most of the time. Proper planning and approach helps in achieving good results and managing stress.

Emotions before an exam are normal states, the important thing is to recognize and find the right methods to deal with the pressure. Functional stress can bring you benefits, you are inspired and motivated, you have the necessary energy to improve your performance.
Changes in heart rate and breathing, muscle aches and headaches, indigestion, sleep problems, are the first indications that you are in a situation that causes you stress, anxiety, physical and emotional discomfort.

Cum poți gestiona stresul în perioada examenului:
▪ alimentează-te corespunzător, mănâncă alimente bogate în vitamine din grupul B, seleniu, zinc și luteină,
▪ odihnește-te suficient,
▪ fă-ți timp pentru mișcare,
▪ expune-te la soare,
▪ planifică-ți programul de studiu, fă pauze regulate,
▪ limitează consumul de cofeină,
▪ practică tehnici de respirație și meditația,
▪ cere și acceptă ajutor,
▪ zâmbește,
▪ fii recunoscător,
▪ gestionează-ți/ajustează-ți așteptările.

Use statements like:
I will do everything in my human power!
I'm a worker!
I am confident in my own strength!
I'm brave!
I can see myself succeeding!
I'm calm!
I will succeed because I worked hard!

Be a supportive parent, don't put extra pressure, don't condition on the grade, avoid comparisons, help him build a balanced schedule, teach him how to recognize and manage stressful moments, be an example to him, don't show your worries, your emotions, avoid talking about the negative effects of a failure.
